All UK Citizens who are permanent residents of Florida ought to consider applying for United States Citizenship. Applicants must have held a Green Card for at least 5 years. The advantages are many. For example, non-US citizens who own property in the USA can have over $600,000 of the assets from their estate siezed by the United States Government, following their death.
